What is Whatsapp two step verification ?

Two step verification means you will get an extra security for logging in to your application. Two step verification allows you to have a double security so that anyone trying to hack your app won't get access to your Whatsapp.messenger.

While logging in with two step verification you will be asked for a six digit password after logging in to your whatsapp application for an extra security and prevention against hackers.

So for setting up for two step verification and adding an extra security you need to follow these simple steps given below.

Step 1: Open your Whatsapp messenger app on your mobile.

Step 3: Then click on "account".

Step 4: Now click on the third option "Two step verification".

After clicking on "Two step verification" you will see this screen.

Step 5: Now click on "enable" as shown in the picture.

Now here you have to enter a six digit pin that you have to enter when you log in for the next time.

Step 6: After adding and confirming your six digit pin click on "next".

Now you have to add an email for recovering the pin if you forgot the pin in future.

Now your whatsapp "Two step verification" is enabled and your app has been extra secured.
