‌Here is a simple and easy way to transmit PC audio wirelessly to your smart phone.Sometimes you might find trouble watching a movie or listening to music on your PC through speakers while some of your family member or friend is taking a nap near you, or at bedtime you decided to watch a movie and you don't want to disturb them while sleeping or taking a nap, and you don't have an headphones, or you have to watch the movie while sitting on a couch with comfort.


Here is a step by step instructions on how you can do it.

‌Step 1.you have to first download and install "Soundwire server" app on your PC by clicking on this Soundwire server

‌Step 2.After installing 'Soundwire" on your PC you have to run the "Soundwire" app on your PC.



  • ‌Now you will see this window on your screen.





Step 3.You have to download and install Soundwire Android app on your smart phone from play store.




Step 4.After installation open the app on your smart phone.


  • when you'll open the app on your smart phone you will see this screen.




Step 5.Now connect to the same WiFi network on which your PC is connected.


Step 6.Enter the server IP from your PC.





  • Into the server input on your smart phone.






  • And tap on the soundwire icon on your smart phone.





Your phone will now connect to your PC and sound will be transmitted to your smart phone.

Note:If you find trouble connecting your phone to the PC server, hover your mouse pointer to the server IP on your PC and you will find a list of all the IP addresses served enter any other IP on your smart phone which you have not entered before,and your smart phone will connect to any one of the given IP and the sound will be transmitted to your smart phone.





Step 7.If the transmitted sound is not synchronized you have to go to the settings of the soundwire which is located on the top-right corner. and enable audio compression option and also select the audio buffer size to smaller size




Note: smaller buffer size gives lower latency and larger buffer size gives smoother audio.
