What is a wifi adapter? and how to install a wifi adapter on your pc and laptop.

Wifi adapter  is a wireless dongle which is used for accessing a wifi connection on a non wireless compatible device. For example: Desktop PC without wireless card.

Installing a wifi adapter.

  Plugging the wifi adapter to the PC is same as we plug a flash drive to the PC.

Follow these steps to install the adapter to your PC/Laptop

Step 1: plug the adapter in any of your USB port on your PC.

Step 2: Install the driver on your PC from the installation CD given with your adapter ( you can also install driver from web with the site given on the package of the product.)

Step 3 After installing the driver just simply connect to your nearest home or office wifi network.

Note: There is no need to install driver on windows 10 and above.
